Inside: A round-up of preschool Spring songs and fingerplays plus 3 free printable lyric sheets and mp3s. Learn joyful songs while kids build literacy & pre-math skills.

“Mama, look! A snail!” my son squealed, his eyes wide. I felt a smile spread across my face. A snail means the world is waking up.

A snail means Spring is here!

It’s time to plan camping trips, play with ladybugs, and brush up on my favorite spring songs for kids!

Spring Songs for Kids – Free Printables

I love to have a song (or five) in mind for every occasion – and I love making printable lyric sheets to go along with my favorites.

When kids sing along with these printables they:

  • Practice counting
  • Learn one-to-one correspondence
  • Develop literacy skills
  • Stay engaged longer

Plus, the printables help me remember new song lyrics.

I keep my printables in sheet protectors in a binder. When my kids come across the binder, they flip through the pages, ask me to sing – or even sing by themselves!

I’ve put together a package of 5 printable lyric sheets and Mp3s. You can download them for free below.

I Love the Flowers

I love the flowers,

I love the daffodils.

I love the mountains,

I love the rolling hills.

I love the fireside,

When the lights are low.

Boom de ada, boom de ada,

Boom de ada, boom de ada.

Boom de ada, boom de ada,

Boom de ada, boom de ada,

Boom.

Good Morning Little Bluebird

Bluebird, bluebird,

Good morning little bluebird,

So glad to see you.

Good morning to the flowers,

Flowers, flowers.

So glad to see you.

Good morning to the raindrops,

Raindrops, raindrops.

So glad to see you.

Good morning to the Springtime,

Springtime, Springtime.

Good morning to the Springtime,

So glad to see you.
