30+ of the Best Fall Art Activities for Preschoolers

Last updated January 15, 2020 Leave a Comment Filed Under: Art

Inside: Engage the senses with these handpicked fall art activities for preschoolers including process art, open-ended projects, and simple crafts.

“Mama, I’m so cold,” my 4-year-old whined as he climbed into my lap. It took a few seconds for my sleep-deprived brain to comprehend.

“It is pretty cold in here,” I said. I fired up the heater and grabbed a warm blanket. Breakfast could wait.

While the house warmed, we cuddled on the couch and admired the changing leaves on the maple tree across the creek. Fall had arrived.

To celebrate, I collected 30+ simple fall art activities for preschoolers. These handpicked ideas include process art and open-ended projects – plus a few easy crafts. All of them will engage the senses, bring focus to the changing season, and are simple enough anyone can do them!

I’ll be working on these fall art activities with my kids throughout the season. I hope you’ll join me!
